Terms of Service
Last updated · 20 August 2026
These terms govern your use of maison-oj.com (the “site”), operated by Maison OJ (“we”, “us”, “our”), a brand and web design studio based in Paris, France. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Using the site
You may browse the site for lawful, personal or professional purposes. You agree not to misuse it — including attempting to disrupt it, gaining unauthorised access, scraping it at scale, or using it in any way that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights.
2. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all content on this site — including text, layout, graphics, photography, logos and the Maison OJ name and branding — is owned by Maison OJ or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or reuse it without our prior written consent.
3. Client work & trademarks
Projects shown in our portfolio are presented to illustrate our work. Client names, brands and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for reference only.
4. Enquiries and bookings
Contacting us through the site, or booking an introductory call, does not by itself create a binding contract for services. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement or proposal agreed between us.
5. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party services (for example Calendly for scheduling, or Behance). We are not responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of those external sites.
6. Availability & “as is”
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maison OJ will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, and any dispute relating to the site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France, unless a mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version; continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
